In response to multiple requests from counties for assistance in developing a response to the opioid/heroin abuse, the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) is hosting a one-day symposium on January 27, 2016 at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel and Conference Center, 1150 Camp Hill Bypass, Camp Hill, PA.  This one-day event will focus on providing the Criminal Justice Advisory Boards (CJABs) and stakeholders throughout the Commonwealth with assistance in planning for a county wide response.

The Symposium will bring together both criminal Justice and public health experts to speak on the epidemic and provide models and tools tailored towards the local level that communities can use to plan their response.  As a follow-up to the Symposium, planning grants may be available to support county planning efforts.
