What: The 2017 CJAB Conference: "Law Enforcement, Courts, and Corrections in the 21st Century" will, once again, bring together criminal justice, behavioral health, and treatment partners in what promises to be a dynamic and informative two-day event.  We have a line-up of national and local experts that will discuss topics that are impacting our criminal justice and behavioral health systems.  By popular demand, we are excited to welcome back Mr. Carl Dawson who will speak on Medications Used in Substance-Related Disorders, Treatment Recovery as well as other addiction-related topics over the two-day event.  We are also excited to announce that Mr. Pete Earley, author and Pulitzer Prize finalist of Crazy: A Father’s Search Through America’s Mental Health Madness will be joining us as well as Dr. Brian R. Sims, a national and international consultant on the Fundamentals of Trauma-Informed Care.  Other topics will include 21st Century Policing, Justice Reinvestment, Procedural Justice, and many more!

 
Who Should Attend:  Criminal Justice; Behavioral Health; and Treatment Professionals 
 
We are pleased to announce that this years’ Conference has been awarded the following credits:
 
·        The Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Board has approved the 2017 CJAB Conference for up to 11 CLEs credits.
 
·        The NASW-PA Chapter has approved the 2017 CJAB Conference for up to 11.5 Continuing Education (CEs) credits.  These credits are for licensed social workers, licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage & family therapists, and licensed professional counselors, as approved by NASW-PA.

As always there is no registration fee to attend.  This event promises to be an excellent training and networking opportunity for our justice and behavioral health partners.  Deadline for registration is March 15, 2017.
