What We Do

PCCD-supported Criminal Justice Advisory Boards (CJABs) encourage diverse views, collaboration, and responsible management.  Building Local Collaboration (CJABs)

PCCD-initiated projects link drug and alcohol treatment with such sanctions as residential rehabilitation, work release, and electronic monitoring.   Problem-Solving Courts

A coalition of local stakeholders strives to overcome the barriers to a smooth transition of offenders back into their communities.   Preparing Offenders To Return Home

The Central Booking project applies the latest technologies to reported crimes—from fingerprinting to image identification and records management.   Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association

Accreditation is a time-proven way of helping law enforcement agencies evaluate and affordably improve performance.   Training and Accrediting Law Enforcement

Standardizing, integrating, and sharing data is a top PCCD priority for justice practices (JNET), sentencing (SGS Web), and prison data (ERII). 

PCCD has helped fund efforts to digitize crime data, automate case management, and streamline decision making.
